Greenburgh Graham Union Free School District is seeking qualified, interested applicants to fill a vacancy for a Behavior Specialist.Job responsibilities include:-Leading the completion of Functional Behavior Assessments, including direct classroom observations of students- Working with a students team to develop a Behavior Intervention Plans- Creating meaningful data collection procedures for students to inform efficacy of the BIP- Analyzing Behavior Data and revising and updating BIPs as needed- Overseeing the implementation of Behavior Plans in place for students and providing feedback to staff/providers- Creating and supporting staff members in data collection procedures related to behavior goals for students- Leading weekly or bi-monthly 1:1 meetings with staff members to review behavior tracking, data collection procedures, current data, skill acquisition programs, etc.- Coordinating with staff to develop a treatment plan, providing general support for families- conducting observations and providing both written and informal feedback- Supervision of RBTs and the completion of appropriate documentation- Responding to Crisis and providing feedback to staff on Crisis Management- Participating in Staff Development/Staff Training pertaining to behavior techniques and support- Collaborate to provide Parent Counseling and Training The Qualified applicant will have or be working towards certification as a BCBA or ABCBA. NYS certification in Special Education or School Psychologist preferred but not essential.
