Position OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Coordinator to lead efforts in building strong connections between our school, students, families, and the broader community. This individual will serve as a vital link in promoting positive school culture, guiding student transitions, and ensuring that families are engaged and empowered partners in student success.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain trusting, culturally responsive relationships with families.Coordinate transition services for students entering and exiting the district, including those returning to their home district or moving into community settings.Facilitate student and family orientation processes and help new students acclimate to the school community.Partner with community organizations, workforce programs, and service providers to support student opportunities.Plan and support school-wide cultural events, family nights, student showcases, and community forums.Collaborate with leadership on school climate initiatives and restorative practices.Preferred QualificationsNYS School District Leader CertificationMaster’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, or related field Experience in family engagement, community-based work, or student support services, especially in alternative or special education settings.Understanding of trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices.Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student and family populations.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly encouraged to apply.About Greenburgh Graham UFSDGreenburgh Graham is a Special Act School District that serves students with significant emotional and behavioral needs.
