Part-time Building EngineerGreenwich Education Group (GEG) is seeking a seasoned part-time Building Engineer for our 80,000 Square Foot Building.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Perform cooling tower water treatment testing Inspect mechanical rooms and all operational building equipmentInspect building rooftop and clean drains as needed (primarily in the fall)Inspect the fire pump, sprinkler equipment, and generatorMonitor BMS systemMonitor and manage the operation of the fire alarm systemTour building and propertyEnsure the operation of HVAC equipmentPerform and/or schedule necessary repairs of building equipment as neededChecking Building Management System 2x/week (we will have someone onsite checking it daily) Greasing motors and fan bearings as neededReplacing water filters in water fountains and coffee makers as needed (2x/yr.). There are 8 units combined. Checking and changing time clocks for lights as needed.Changing lightbulbs as needed. Any electrical work beyond lightbulb changing is outsourced.
