IT MANAGERGreenwich Education Group (GEG) is seeking an IT Manager to support students,faculty, and staff via data services, help desk support, and infrastructure deployment andmanagement for our 105 employee educational enterprise.RESPONSIBILITIESSystems ManagementOversee the administration, integrity, and support of enterprise application systems deployed school-wide; ensure that the schools' network, servers, data storage, phone systems, AN installations, printing systems, and overall IT infrastructure are meeting the needs of faculty, staff, and students.Evaluate, maintain and support essential processes and procedures, including security, risk management, retention, backup, compliance, and recovery.Manage the deployment of all hardware and software in terms of migration, rollout, customer satisfaction, performance, and asset management.Faculty, Staff, and Student PartnershipDesign and deliver systems training for faculty, staff, students, and parents.Be a visible presence and hands-on support partner to ensure that requests for technology assistance are addressed in a timely and professional manner.Manage and support the schools' student 1-to-1 and BYOD programs.Evaluate and recommend action on emerging technologies to support current and future academic and operational needsTechnology Program ManagementManage the technology budget and general operations of the technology programServe as the schools' project manager for upgrades and transitional initiatives involving hardware, software, infrastructure, systems, and classroom AV.Oversee and manage third-party technology consultantsManage the IT intern and serve as a mentor as well as managing workflowQualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree required, with advanced coursework in information systems or a related field desirableFive years of experience coordinating or managing technology projectsand initiatives, preferably in an educational environmentExperience administering data systems or enterprise applicationsProven experience supporting IT operations, including security, networking, backup, disaster and recovery planning, risk management, or hardware deploymentSuperb communication skills and a collaborative, customer-focused responsive styleSolutions-focused problem solver with a sense of urgency to meet clients’ needsExperience designing and delivering technology workshops and trainingsExcellent budgeting skills with the ability to plan strategically and cost effectively, as well as prioritize resourcesCapable of lifting up to 25 pounds and accessing hardware in hard-to-reach spaces
