Garden City UFSD needs one 12-month custodian (night) as a provisional appointment. Typical duties include: sweeping, mopping, handling cleaning supplies, waxing floors, washing windows and floors, moving supplies and equipment. Custodians are also responsible for setting up and moving furniture for special events, securing windows and doors after cleaning assigned areas, snow removal and other tasks as needed. The ideal candidate would have the knowledge of materials and methods of cleaning. Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions. Candidate must have the ability to lift 40 pounds.
