The successful candidate will begin on or about March 21, 2025. This is a full-time probationary appointment leading toward tenure. Preference to individuals with Teacher or Teacher Assistant Certification. Responsibilities:Support delivery of Academic Intervention service in the area of Math and/or Reading (K-6)Challenge and educate students in a classroom settingMaintain positive relationships with students and parentsMaintain the health and safety of all studentsCollaborate with classroom teachers, special education, and academic intervention service providersKnowledge of computers, technology, google suite, is strongly desiredQualifications:Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staffExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership qualitiesIn accordance with New York State certification requirements for Teacher AssistantCertification is preferred, but applicants pursuing certification (nearing completion) are also encouraged to applyApplication deadline is January 31, 2025Salary and Benefits: Competitive and commensurate with experience- As outlined in the most recent GBTA Collective Bargaining Agreement
