WE ARE LOOKING FOR:(1) Full-time Tutor (7:30-2:30)Hourly Rate: $26.52 w/benefits; former FCSD teachers: $36.08 w/benefits (up to 37.5 hours per week)(2) Part-time Tutors Flexible Hours between 7:30am-5pm (Up to 5.5 hours per day) Hourly: 26.52 p/h; former FCSD teachers: $36.08 A tutor’s job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide students with direction and support in completing all coursework assigned by the teacher of record.Communicate and consult with teachers of record to ensure work plan, work completion, and assessment of student progress is on track.Cooperate with other tutor(s) supporting students to ensure consistency of academic, behavior and attendance expectations.Supervise the administration of assessments (such as STAR, SRI) to determine students’ academic strengths and weaknesses. Communicate with teachers of record regarding specific areas of need for support and development during tutoring.Complete weekly progress reports for each student and communicate progress with building administrators, teachers, counselors, alternative education coordinator, and parents.Record student attendance in accordance with program procedures.If you have any questions about the position, please contact our Director of Student Support Services, Elizabeth Tiffany, at (315)-593-5916.
