Fulton City School District is seeking an exceptional candidate for a probationary School-Home Liaison position at the elementary level.The school-home liaison will assist in eliminating barriers that inhibit school success and engagement for students and their families. Primary responsibilities include assessing the need for school-based and community-based services, completing referrals to appropriate supports, implementing strategies and interventions to address the social-emotional, behavioral, academic and attendance needs of all students, collaborating with families, community agencies, teachers, other support services professionals and administrators to implement a comprehensive system of support. Strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of NYS SEL benchmarks and current best practices in student services are required.
