The Fulton City School District is in need of a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2023-2024 school year. Successful candidates will possess the knowledge, skills and energy to enhance our team of professional educators and contribute in a meaningful way to attaining that vision.Teachers in the Fulton City School District benefit from:Professional development and mentoring designed specifically for teachers new to the profession and/or district;Collaborative professional learning community;Instructional coaching;Multi-year Strategic Plan focused on leadership, literacy, instructional practices, social-emotional well-being, family/community engagement and innovation;Highly competitive salary and benefits.Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide an inclusive approach to speech and language acquisition and development for students by providing direct therapy, consultation services, classroom support and speech improvement sessions to enable all children to access and progress in the general education curriculum.The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) conducts individual and group speech sessions per student IEP.The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) manages their schedule to maximize IEP compliance.Integral member of the school community, grade level teams, RtI/support teams, crisis teams, and the CPSE & CSE process. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) writes quarterly progress notes that report on progress toward IEP objectives.Measure learning continuously and graph data daily.Attends staff and PLT meetings when necessary.The Speech-Language Pathologist is supervised by the Director of Early Childhood Education.Required license or certification: New York State Teaching Certificate-Speech & Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Speech and Language Disabilities (TSLD).
