The Florida Union Free School District anticipates an opening for an Elementary Teacher beginning September 2, 2025. We are seeking a highly qualified candidate who possesses the following:NYS certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth - 2nd Grade) and Childhood Education (Grades 1-6). Additional certification in either Special Education or Literacy is preferred.The experience, education, and expertise to devise personalized educational experiences that meet the needs of a diversified classroom of learners.Evidence of experience/expertise with using assessment data to inform instruction; to diagnostically impact student learning, including ways to identify strengths to help augment student progress and reduce learning gaps.A strong repertoire of pedagogical skills includes project-based learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving as it applies to student potential.A strong candidate will have the ability to relate to young learners and a proven record of teamwork.The successful candidate will enjoy student and community involvement while being able to look critically at programs to bring about positive and lasting change. The selected candidate will begin in September 2025. All applications must be received by June 6, 2025.
