Serve students identified with disabilities.· Develop student abilities to perform at maximum level of independence in community setting.· Be involved in the development and implementation of individual Education plans for students in the program.· Provide a structured and secure classroom environment for students in the program.· Record and report student progress.· Performs all other related duties as assigned by the Administrator.QUALIFICATIONS:· NYS Certification in grades 7-12 w/CTE certification preferred· Knowledge of NYS Learning Standards and NYSAA· Knowledge of curriculum and effective instructional strategies· Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
