ANNOUNCEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL OPENING Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) PROBATIONARY POSITION Effective: 2026-2027 School Year Qualifications: New York State Teaching Certification in any area or School Psychologist AND NYS Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Responsibilities: Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, develop Behavior Intervention Plans, and provide training and ongoing support to teachers and teaching assistants responsible for the implementation of BIPs. Monitor and ensure the accurate implementation of intervention plans and appropriate use of behavioral strategies. Establish and maintain data measurement, collection, and analysis systems for students and use professional knowledge and independent judgment to strategize continuous improvements. Participate in Committee on Special Education meetings, presenting data, reports, and contribute knowledge and expertise around behavioral support. Maintain highly organized, consistent, thorough, and systematic record keeping (session notes, data sheets, etc.) Provide staff development, training, and modeling for team members Provide consultation and training to parents and/or guardians as outlined in IEPs. Provide consultation regarding crisis interventions and critical incident supports; complete incident reports as needed. Participate in professional growth activities such as conferences, classes, team meetings and program visitations; remain a lifelong learner. Interviews will be ongoing until the position is filled.
