Mathematics Teacher – Leave Replacement Tentative Start Date: 4/20/2026 Description: The Eastport-South Manor Central School District is looking for a secondary mathematics teacher leave replacement starting this spring. We are seeking a candidate who balances deep content expertise with a passion for fostering mathematical curiosity, critical thinking, and measurable academic growth in every student. Key responsibilities of this role include: Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction that emphasizes problem-solving and critical thinking. Utilize effective instructional practices to meet the needs of diverse student populations. Collaborate with the math department to align curriculum and share best practices. Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Requirements : A valid NYS teaching certification in Mathematics 7-12, and strong content knowledge across the secondary math curriculum, including calculus. Compensation : Per Teachers’ Contract
