School Psychologist, ProbationaryRequirements:NYS Certified School Psychologist; Knowledge of NYSED Part 200, 201 and Federal IDEA regulations;*Conduct psychological assessments, write psychological reports, interpret results for students/parents, write IEPs, participate in CSE/team meetings, and Multi-Tier Support System meetings.* Provide individual and group therapy per IEP requirements.* Lead crisis intervention efforts and develop functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.* Integrate psychological services into the classroom environment as appropriate.* Assist staff in the design and implementation of appropriate interventions and accommodations for students.* Contribute to district SEL program development that furthers the integration of social, coping, and problem-solving skills in the classroom.* Provide support services and community resources to caregivers as needed.* Coordinate and/or collaborate with a range of individuals/agencies to promote and provide comprehensive services to students and families.* Collaborate with the related services team and school principal to provide appropriate services and make recommendations as necessary.
