Elementary Teacher - Probationary PositionsRequirements: Due to retirements, we are currently seeking two dynamic Elementary Teachers with effective collaboration skills, strong work ethic, as well as the ability to motivate students with a love of learning and reading. The chosen candidates must have the following skills:• Expertise in developing lessons to meet NYS Standards• Knowledge of web-based tools to support the classroom• The ability to differentiate instruction for all types of learners• Interactive lessons using a myriad of software• Versed in depth of knowledge questioning• Communicates effectively with all members of the school communityIn addition to applying on OLAS, all candidates must go the Eastport-South Manor School District Website (www.esmonline.org), Personnel Department, to complete our employment application process.Application Deadline: 5/06/2024Start Date: 1/01/2025 * Please note although the positions do not start until January of 2025, we will offer the successful candidates a permanent substitute positions in the District until the starting date of the Elementary teacher positions begins.
