POSITION: Program Administrator (Principal Level) for Career, Technical, and Adult Education (FT) (Previous applicants are still under consideration, no need to reapply) ESBOCES is looking for an experienced leader who values diversity, equity and inclusion, and who has experience navigating multiple constituents, agencies and audiences to run successful programming in support of secondary learners. This critical position reports to the Director of Career, Technical and Adult Education, and serves as a leader within the department, agency, and the region to promote the development and delivery of secondary technical programming that aligns with industry standards, supports lifelong learning, and promotes the educational development of every student. BUILDING: Instructional Support Center @ Sequoya, Holtsville, NY QUALIFICATIONS:NYS SAS/SDL CertificationTeacher, instructional leadership, and building level experience requiredCentral Office and/or CTE experience preferredDemonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee Central Office management of secondary career programs with the exception of curriculum, instruction, and professional developmentCoordinates admissions processes, classroom, and marketing events for all secondary programsManage renovations, equipment requests, and operational changes such as moves and space updates for the departmentSeeks/Manages new funding opportunities including the Secondary Perkins GrantMonitor the development and evaluation of new and existing course offerings and prepare a career pathway curriculumSeek and apply for training grants and fundingEstablish partnerships to improve student outcomesActively recruit a diverse student and staff clientele to increase enrollment and broaden serviceDevelop and expand relations with local businesses and community organizationsRepresent agency interests as a liaison across multiple audiences and platformsEffectively communicate and demonstrate strong interpersonal skillsManage multiple work streams, deadlines, and projects simultaneouslyCollect, analyze, and report on data to illustrate student success and program impact; serve as a data driven though leaderServe on a collaborative leadership that innovates and evolves programmingDevelop and expand new secondary programs and courses related to immediate and future workforce needs START DATE: As soon as possible SALARY: $149,240.00
