The East Ramapo Central School District is seeking a motivated and student-athlete centered individual to lead our Softball Program. An ideal candidate will have extensive experience coaching softball, value long-term athletic development, understand the importance of an integrated strength and conditioning program, and have the ability to coordinate with their respective administrators, Varsity coaches of other sports, strength and conditioning coaches, and with JV and Modified coaches within their respective sport. In addition to fostering a culture of respect and dignity, and coaching the Varsity Softball Team, the Varsity Softball Head Coach will lead the Softball Program by establishing skill progressions, designing sequenced drills and activities, and informing appropriate levels of play and competition. The Varsity Softball Head Coach will serve on the Coaches Council, focusing on the betterment of sports experiences for students enrolled in the East Ramapo School District. The candidate must meet all New York State coaching licensure requirements by the start of the season.
