The East Ramapo Central School District is seeking a motivated and student-athlete centered individual to lead our Unified Basketball Program. An ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with students with disabilities, value long-term development, understand the value and importance of inclusion and celebration of individual differences, and have the ability to coordinate with their respective administrators, teachers, and coaches. In addition to fostering a culture of respect and dignity, and coaching the Unified Basketball Team, the Unified Basketball Head Coach will lead the Unified Basketball Program by recruiting students to participate, establishing skill progressions, designing sequenced drills and activities, and informing appropriate levels of play and competition. The Unified Basketball Head Coach will serve on the Coaches Council, focusing on the betterment of sports experiences for students enrolled in the East Ramapo School District. The candidate must meet all New York State coaching licensure requirements by the start of the season.
