The East Ramapo Central School District is seeking a motivated and student-athlete centered individual to assist in our Basketball Program at Spring Valley High School and serve as the Head Coach for our JV Boys’ Basketball Team. An ideal candidate will have experience coaching boys’ basketball, value long-term athletic development, understand the importance of an integrated strength and conditioning program, have the ability to assist in the Boys’ Basketball Program, and coordinate with coaches at the Varsity and Modified levels. In addition to promoting a culture of respect and dignity, and assisting within the Boys’ Basketball Program, the JV Boys’ Basketball Head Coach will implement skill progressions, sequenced drills and activities, and inform appropriate levels of play and competition. The candidate must meet all New York State coaching licensure requirements by the start of the season.
