Job Title: Speech and Language Teacher – Bilingual Yiddish SpeakingLocation: East Ramapo Central School District PositionType: Full-Time, ProbationaryThe East Ramapo Central School District is seeking a skilled and compassionate Bilingual Yiddish Speaking Speech/Language Pathologist to provide essential services to students with communication disorders. This is a full-time, probationary position with the potential for tenure, offering the chance to make a significant impact on students’ academic and social success.Key Responsibilities:Provide individualized, group and integrated speech/language therapy to students per IEP mandates.Conduct evaluations and screenings to identify students with speech/language needs and monitor their progress.Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student communication goals across all educational settings.Engage in progress monitoring as per the IEP and adjust therapy interventions as needed.Maintain daily session notes using district approved digital platform and engage in documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.Participate in CSE meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings.Ability to engage in student feeding therapy, assistive technology evaluations and device management.
