The East Ramapo Central School District is seeking a motivated and student-athlete centered individual to assist in our Girls’ Basketball Program and serve as the Head Coach for our Kakiat Middle School Modified Girls’ Basketball Team. An ideal candidate will have experience coaching basketball, value long-term athletic development, understand the importance of an integrated strength and conditioning program, have the ability to assist in the Girls’ Basketball Program, and coordinate with coaches at the Varsity and JV levels. In addition to promoting a culture of respect and dignity, and assisting within the Girls’ Basketball Program, the Modified Girls’ Basketball Head Coach will implement skill progressions, sequenced drills and activities, and inform appropriate levels of play and competition. The candidate must meet all New York State coaching licensure requirements by the start of the season.
