Description: The East Ramapo Central School District is seeking an experienced Per Diem Human Resources Administrator to support the daily operations of a busy HR office serving approximately 2,000 staff members. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a deep understanding of personnel administration in a public-school setting.Qualifications:Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent for Personnel in a large, diverse school districtNew York State SDL or SDA certificationMaintain excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skillsProven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organizationThorough knowledge of NYS Education Department regulations, civil service procedures, and collective bargaining agreementsDemonstrated ability to manage confidential personnel matters with professionalism and discretionKnowledge of NYS teacher certification requirements, tenure processes, and reporting obligationsExperience with civil service and competitive exam procedures for classified staffFamiliarity with compliance requirements for staff fingerprinting, mandatory trainings, and background checksAbility to oversee personnel recordkeeping and reporting in accordance with state and federal regulations Additional Information:Per diem position, schedule as neededRetirees are encouraged to applySalary is regionally competitive
