Collaborative team players that have the desire to become part of a dynamic team are encouraged to apply.RESPONSIBILITIES:Planning, preparing, and delivering classroom and course materials based on NYS World Language andACTFL standardsUsing a variety of presentation methods and technology resourcesCollaborating with colleagues on curricula and lesson plansDeveloping lesson plans and curricula based on the needs of individual learnersProviding conversational opportunities where pronunciation and important words and phrases are taughtTeaching writing and compositionScheduling and preparing students for oral and written examinationsMonitoring students’ progress by writing reports and grading assessmentsOrganizing feedback sessions with students and their parents if applicableProviding suggestions for further learning and scheduling intervention sessions with struggling studentsTeaching students about culture, which may include festivals, traditional food and dress, and socialconventionsOrganizing events where students can showcase their language skills
