RESPONSIBILITIES: Planning, preparing, and delivering classroom and course materials based on NYS standards Using a variety of presentation methods and technology resources Complete understanding of NYSESLAT/NYSITELL levels of English Knowledge of ELL identification and placement process Creating individualized plans for students, especially for SIFE Establishing a supportive and positive classroom environment Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades Progress monitoring and using data to inform instruction in classrooms Resolving crises in classroom Communication with parents about student progress Collaborate with colleagues to provide a positive learning experience to students Apply on OLAS
