The ideal candidate will have the expertise to develop and refine a guaranteed and viable curriculum that is aligned to NYS learning standards. This candidate will possess experience in personnel supervision, professional development, and long-term planning. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp on New York State learning standards and the Commissioner's Regulations as related to all assigned areas. The ideal candidate will understand the connection between interscholastic athletics and academics and focus that connection for student success. This candidate will know how to engage the community to create a sense of pride amongst constituent groups. The successful candidate will supervise events that occur after-school, weekends, and during ERCSD vacations. The ideal candidate understands how to collect and analyze data for planning purposes. The ideal candidate understands the requisite elements of scheduling athletics. This candidate will be successful in a variety of assignments and always drive to establish equitable access to high quality programming for students. The successful candidate will work effectively with the Director of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics as well as the Assistant Superintendents to ensure the realization of District plans.
