Candidates must demonstrate exceptional musical and instructional skills in both choral settings and general music instruction at the elementary level serving K-5 students. Strong conducting, vocal modeling, classroom management, and music literacy instruction skills are essential. Responsibilities include but are not limited to classroom music with a focus in singing, movement, rhythmic and melodic instruments, recorder, and ukulele. Candidates are also responsible for directing elementary chorus. Qualities required include departmental, building, and district-wide collaborations and excellent communication skills. Qualified candidates can submit their resume, letter of interest and proof of certification through OLAS.*Position is contingent upon passage of the school budget.
