The East Meadow School District is seeking a passionate Reading teacher to work with students in grades K-5.The candidate will work with small groups of students to provide reading intervention.Qualifications:Knowledge of the Science of ReadingExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience using technology creatively and working in a small group teaching environmentGrowth-oriented professional who embraces a collaborative approach to innovation and creative problem solvingWork closely with colleagues to develop rigorous and engaging plans for intensive Tier 3 pullout support of classified students who are strugglingUtilize diagnostic and progress monitoring tools to assess and monitor student learningQualified candidates can submit their resume, letter of interest and proof of certification through OLAS.*Position is contingent upon passage of the school budget.
