The East Meadow School District is seeking dynamic candidates who possess New York State certification in Music Education for an anticipated secondary band position. Candidates with Jazz and Woodwind experience are preferred. The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate exceptional musical skills in teaching and performing on both primary and secondary instruments. They will possess enthusiasm for teaching in both small group, ensemble and Marching Band settings, coupled with a genuine passion for working with secondary students. Candidates must also demonstrate strong conducting skills as well as be willing to participate in departmental, building, and district-wide collaborations, events and additional opportunities for students.Qualified candidates can submit their resume, letter of interest and proof of certification through OLAS.*Position is contingent upon passage of the school budget.
