Position: Elementary Math Specialist (Grades K-5)Effective: September 1, 2025Description: The Math AIS Specialist provides targeted instructional support to students who require additional assistance in mathematics. This role focuses on implementing intervention strategies, analyzing student performance data, and collaborating with educators and families to ensure student success. The ideal candidate is passionate about math education, skilled in differentiation, and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.Qualifications: Strong understanding of mathematics concepts and curriculum across grade levels.Expertise in intervention strategies and differentiated instruction.Proficiency in data analysis to guide instructional decisions.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to build rapport with students and foster a supportive learning atmosphere.Requirements: A current NYS certification for grades 1-6 is required and B-2 is preferred. Additional certifications and bilingual candidates are preferred.
