The ideal candidate will have the following skills: Strong knowledge of the adolescent learnerFamiliar with restorative practicesIndividual student academic program planningHelping the school principal identify and resolve student issues, needs and problemsProviding individual and small-group counseling services to studentsTeach push in lessons to proactively address Social Emotional learning skills for successEnsure student records are maintained as per state and federal requirements Requirements: Current NYS certification as a School Guidance Counselor is required.
