Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Understands and cares deeply about the social and emotional needs of elementary aged students Counsels students individually and in group settings to facilitate and support their academic, social, and emotional growth. Assists in crisis intervention and support Consults and collaborates effectively with parents, guardians, teachers, social emotional staff, and administrators to help support district needs and the individual student’s academic experience. Promotes college and career readiness. Facilitates transitional services for 6 th graders and participates in articulation process. Participates in child study teams and provides support for RTI-school-wide system Provides professional development for teachers and parents.
