This district-wide role supports the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students across all school buildings. The successful candidate will help foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment while collaborating with families, staff, and community partners.Required CertificationCurrent and appropriate New York State School Social Worker certification is required. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and small-group counseling for students with mental health and social-emotional concerns.Conduct social skills training groups and monitor student progress within the student support process.Assist in crisis intervention and provide immediate support during critical situations.Make referrals to community agencies and coordinate services for students and families.Advocate for families within the school and the broader community.Collaborate with parents by offering educational workshops and outreach programs.Participate on school-wide teams to promote a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment. Preferred QualificationsStrong collaboration and communication skills.Experience working with diverse student populations.Knowledge of community resources and school-based mental health supports.
