Job descriptionTeacher Assistants provide instructional services to students on the Autism spectrum under the general supervision of a certified teacher. The position requires working with students on a 1:1 basis as well as in a group setting or with multiple students .Daily review with classroom teacher regarding student's day and progress in their educational instructionImplement and collect data on the student's IEP goals and behavior management plan.Assist students, as needed, during activities of daily living, gym instruction, bathroom and others.Lead or assist in various group activitiesAid in the development of educational materialsParticipate in parent training program in order to promote generalization of skills learned in schoolReport/document all occurrences to Program Coordinator in the absence of teacherAttend weekly classroom meetingsadminister Eden II School curriculum assessmentattend Eden II in services, training and any other staff meetingsOther duties as assignedCandidates seeking P/T are welcomed to apply as well.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: From $17.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to Friday
