Evergreen Charter School is seeking a School Receptionist for the Intermediate School.The mission of Evergreen Charter School (ECS) is to nurture the intellectual, physical and social development of children, through a comprehensive program that promotes academic excellence and prepares its students for success in school and in life.Primary Responsibilities:The School Receptionist’s responsibilities include, and are not limited to, the following:• Answers school’s phone main line, and greets students, parents, and visitors.• Nurtures and maintains positive interactions with students, parents and families.• Distributes information on a variety of topics with administration, teachers, and studentsfamilies through multiple communication channels.• Assists in all incoming requests and inquiries received from parents and families, andcommunicates them promptly to the respective staff members.• Maintains a welcoming, organized, and professional school’s front desk area.• Stocks, tracks, and maintains inventory of office products and supplies.• Completes various administrative duties, such as, monitoring late arrivals and dismissals, maintaining records of school’s operations, updating students and parents contact information, etc.Qualifications:• Highly organized and proficient in handling a wide range of inquiries and requests.• Proficient in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.• Excellent phone skills, and able to communicate in English and Spanish by phone, inwriting, and in person.• Proficient in MS Office.• Experience in using common office equipment, including mail processing equipment.• Excellent command of the Spanish language.Education:· High School diploma required, Associate’s degree preferred.Work Location:• One locationJob Type: Full-timePay: From $30,000.00 per yearBenefits:• Health insurance• Paid time offSchedule:• 8-hour shift (Full Time)• Day shift• Monday to Friday• 12-month contractAbility to Relocate:• Hempstead, NY 11550: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
