Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School is seeking a caring, patient, and reliable Instructional/ICAP Teacher Aide to provide support to students within the Individualized Career Academic Program (ICAP). The aide will work closely with the special education teacher , teaching assistant and related service providers to support the students academic, social, and emotional development within both classroom and community settings. Responsibilities include:Providing direct support to a student in academic, vocational, and community-based instruction settings.Assisting students in developing independence, communication, and self-regulation skills.Supporting classroom instruction and accommodations as outlined in the student’s IEP.Collaborating with teachers, related service providers, and case managers to ensure consistent implementation of supports.Promoting inclusion and positive peer interactions.Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework or degree preferred).Experience working with students with disabilities, particularly in life skills, transition, or vocational settings, is preferred.Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a genuine desire to support student growth.Ability to follow directions, maintain detailed communication with the instructional team, and adapt to changing student needs.Compensation:Per the current Edgemont Teacher Aide contract.Application Procedure:Please apply online through www.olasjobs.org and include:Cover letterResume
