Special Education Teacher Aide Support For Basketball Team ManagerCompensation:Hourly rate per Edgemont UFSD Teacher Aide Unit Contract$23.22/hr - $35.04/hr, depending on one’s assigned step.Description:Under the general supervision of a certified coach or school administrator, an incumbent is responsible for performing noninstructional duties to assist a special education student (1:1) in an interscholastic setting. The student is a team manager and needs support in making sure he remains on task with performing the responsibilities of a team manager. Incumbents of this position may be employed as a one-on-one Teacher Aide assigned to assist a student with special needs. Teacher aide will travel with student-athletes and the team via bus (for away contests), assist student-athletes as needed during the contest/practice (within the parameters of the sport), and remain with the student-athlete until they are picked up by their parent/guardian.Date & Time:Follows the Boys Varsity Basketball schedule for practices and games.Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
