ONLY APPLY IF YOU HOLD THIS TITLE IN A PERMANENT STATUS.Executive Assistant for Human ResourcesData Reporting and AnalysisData analysis and reporting in all HR areas including staffing, recruitment, tenure, permanency, seniority, longevity, attendance patterns, training and compliance issues.Works directly with the Superintendent on creating reports to inform decisions around staffing needs, attendance Issues, employee benefits and best practices in HR.Recruiting and HiringSupports the implementation of recruitment practices to ensure that the district attracts and retains the most highly qualified staff Demonstrates a strong commitment to diversity hiring in the district Posts and advertises all staffing vacancies Arranges, in collaboration with the principals and other supervisors, for the screening and interviewing of employee applicants Interviewing and onboarding faculty and staff as needed Ensures that the credentials of recommended candidates conform with contract(s) and the applicable lawsKnowledge of certification requirements for NYS school employeesFamiliarity with civil service regulations as it relates to school employees Monitors and reviews online resolutions for teaching and staff candidates Directly supports and collaborates with Assistant Superintendent of Business regarding all Weschester County Civil Service appointments.Assists with gathering appropriate documentation for the Board agenda and inputting all personnel into BoardDocs.Employee Records ManagementReviews and verifies employment applications and official college and university transcripts of all new faculty and/or staff, including the verification and recording of reference information Monitors and updates personnel files for all employees Collaborates with Superintendent to implement a modern and user-friendly employee records management system for all employees with up-to-date information on employee attendance, certification, salary, seniority, and course work Keeps employees appropriately informed about personnel-related matters Collaborates with Department Staff to ensure the accurate and timely collection and recording of Basic Educational Data Systems (BEDS) information from district staff Respond to applicants as necessaryReview current employee information for accuracy and responsible for maintaining employee data In nVision and Frontline.Handles attendance Issues and appropriate documentation of any implications for payroll. Examples include, unpaid leaves, FMLA’s, removal from payroll, course credit (STI) for lane movement and absent uploads from Frontline (AESOP).Employee SupportResponds to general inquiries from staff related to Human Resources Issues.Ability to use computer applications such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Frontline (AESOP) and nVision.General Human Resources SupportAssists in the development and administration of the school District’s focus on DEI practices and beliefs, consistent with school District goals and objectives. Participates in, and facilitates, workshops, meetings, community events, etc., for collaborating, sharing, and/or presenting information to help promote equity, inclusivity, and wellness. Coordinates special projects as directed by the Superintendent.
