English Teacher, Probationary2025-2026High School The Eastchester School District is seeking a dynamic candidate to fill the probationary position of English Teacher, for the 2025-2026 school year, assigned to Eastchester High School. This is a tenured track position. Requirements: NYS Certification: English 7-12. Additional certifications in Special Education and/or Literacy is preferred. NYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Employment Terms:10 month, full time probationary positionSalary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule; $62,620 - $86,668, step placement contingent upon prior related experience. Internal transfers will maintain their step and salary placement.*Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
