Social Studies Teacher, Leave ReplacementBeginning November 2024Eastchester High SchoolEastchester High School is seeking a candidate to fill a Social Studies Teacher Leave Replacement Position. The position consists of teaching Global History II and U.S. History. The position will begin in November 2024 and continue into the Spring 2025. Requirements:NYS certification: Social Studies 9-12NYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Employment Terms:Per diem leave replacement assignment beginning November 2024Salary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule; $61,939 - $85,725, at a per diem rate of 1/200; step placement contingent upon prior related experience. *Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
