Special Education Teacher (8:1:2 class), Leave ReplacementBeginning on or about June 19, 2024Waverly SchoolThe Eastchester School District is seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate for the leave replacement position of Special Education Teacher for grades K/1 assigned to a 8:1:2 classroom.Requirements:NYS certification: Special Education/Students with DisabilitiesNYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Employment Terms:Salary range: $61,265 - $144,847 (prorated per diem at 1/200) Step placement contingent upon prior related experience. *Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
