Assistant Principal Leave Replacement PositionEastchester High SchoolEffective: December 2024Eastchester High School seeks to hire an instructional leader with demonstrated competence in pedagogy, curriculum development, and evaluation and assessment to fulfill the role of Assistant Principal in the High School. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of student support services, including, but not limited to, student attendance, discipline, scheduling, student safety, and extracurricular activities.Requirements: NYS administrative certification: SBL or SAS as well as teaching certificationMaster’s Degree required; earned Doctorate or enrollment in Doctoral Program preferred.The salary range is $600-$800 per diem based on experience, academic credentials and a record of achievementApplications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.*Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law §§305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
