Math Coach (Grades K-5), Probationary2023-2024 Waverly, Anne Hutchinson and Greenvale Schools The Eastchester School District is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable candidate for the probationary position of Math Coach for grades K-5. The role of Math Coach is to provide K-5 teachers instructional support and coaching by supporting best practices, using data to provide an analysis of trends in mathematics instruction, and making recommendations about next steps to address areas of need, as they work to ensure students are able to reach their academic potential.Requirements:Dual NYS certification preferred: Elementary/Childhood Education; MathematicsNYSED Fingerprint Clearance*Employment Terms:10 month, probationary positionSalary range in accordance with the Eastchester Teachers Association (ETA) negotiated salary schedule.*Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law ยงยง305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
