Anticipated Vacancy:Adult Education - Part-time EveningsGuest Services/Restaurant Customer Service Instructor Do you feel the shortage of well-trained guest service employees in Dutchess County? If you are an experienced Guest Services manager, you may be the right person to teach anew generation of talent for the restaurant industry. SALARY: $30- $40 per hour (depending on experience)LOCATION(S): Adult Learning InstituteDUTIES: The chosen candidate will teach a course in Guest Services/Hospitality, particularly in regard to customer service in the restaurant industry. The 76 hour class will meet up to three evenings a week, for three to four hours per night. Students' final assessment will be the Guest Services Gold Start Certification test. The course will be a combination of lecture and hands-on role playing to develop student understanding of guest services expectations. Additional opportunity to teach a blended English Language Learner course with the support and team teaching of an ESL instructor a possibility.QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the appropriate field with an associate's degree, but the right candidate's years in the field and experience level will be taken into account.GRADE LEVEL: AdultSTARTING DATE: September 1, 2025
