The Dover Union Free School District, a small, rural community-minded district on the eastern side of Dutchess County, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum Staff Development and Technology who will:provide leadership and vision in ongoing planning, implementation, development, direction, review and evaluation of the district’s curriculum, programming and instructional servicesensure that the district’s/schools’ education objectives are aligned to state frameworks and to instructional practices that yield the highest standards of student achievement and instructional excellencecoordinate, schedule, and present training to the faculty and staff that is aligned with the district plans, goals, and objectivesoversee all aspects of technology with regard to staffing, hardware, software, policies, procedures and privacy PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES: 1. Leadership skills, especially in management and interpersonal relations 2. Knowledge and experience in instructional leadership and research-based pedagogy 3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills 4. Flexibility, creativity, and a systematic approach in problem-solving and program development 5.
