The Dover Union Free School District is seeking a school psychologist at the Elementary level. NYS School Psychologist certification is required; the ability to speak Spanish is preferred. Some responsibilities for this position include:Conducting individual and group counseling sessions in accordance with each student’s IEP mandatesCommunicating regularly with parents and team membersCollaborating across disciplines to facilitate successful implementation of behavior modification and coping strategiesAttending meetings with parents, classroom teachers, and school districts as needed.Conducting and participating in professional learning for school Staff and parents, guardians, and caregivers.Completing progress notes and preparing annual reports and proposed IEP goals for each student’s Annual Review Meeting.
