Springhurst Elementary School seeks a part-time (14 hours per week) instrumental music teacher effective August 28, 2024 through June 30, 2025. The successful candidate is an instrumental music educator and musician with strong band background and is passionate about working with children and enthusiastic about collaborating with colleagues to further develop curriculum and pedagogy.NYSED certification: K-12 Music required; Applicants eligible for the Internship Certification strongly encouraged to apply. Experience Proficient in the playing and teaching of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments; ability to imbed technology in music instruction; collaborating with members of the music department in presenting concerts at the elementary school and district-wide during the school day and evening hours.Salary Range: $22,590 - $34,486 commensurate with experience.
