TITLE:Welding InstructorLOCATION:BOCES Wide REPORTS:Building Principal TERMS:10 months, Full-time QUALIFICATIONS:Certified or eligible to receive New York State teacher’s certification in welding. Minimum of four years appropriate career experience required RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Selected candidate will be responsible for delivery of a career education curriculum to high school and adult students in welding career areas. Topics to be covered include but are not limited to: Introduction to all welding processes, blueprint reading, understanding of metallurgy and other skills considered essential for entry level employment in welding occupations. SALARY/BENEFITS:Starting salary $55,243 - $79,266 per year. Competitive pay and benefits based on BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
