TITLE:Mathematics Teacher – Special EducationLOCATION:Pole Campus, Norwich, NY REPORTS:Building Principal TERMS:10 months, Full-time QUALIFICATIONS:Certified in Mathematics 7-12 or eligible to receive New York State teacher certification in Mathematics 7-12, and Special Education RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Plans and provides for appropriate Mathematical experiences aligned with NYS Learning Standards. Responsible for co-planning and co-teaching with instructors to deliver commencement level curriculum. Successful candidate will possess strong classroom management skills, develop positive student/teacher relationship, and utilize creative and flexible instructional practices. SALARY/BENEFITS:Starting salary $52,991 - $79,266 per year. Competitive pay and benefits based on BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
