TITLE:Visual Communications TeacherLOCATION:Alan D. Pole Campus, Norwich, NY REPORTS:Principal TERMS:Full-time, 10 months QUALIFICATIONS:Certified or eligible to receive New York State teacher certification. Must be current and familiar with all aspects of the Visual Communications/Graphic Design industry. Related Adobe certifications and Mac platform, and design integration for various platforms. Minimum of three years of trade experience desired. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Selected candidates will be responsible for providing direct Visual Communications/Graphic Design instruction to high school age students as well as adult students in a school setting. Candidates will assess, revise, certify, and deliver a curriculum that meets New York State Education Department Learning Standards. SALARY/BENEFITS:Starting salary $55,243 - $79,266 per year. Competitive pay and benefits based on BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
