TITLE:Computer Networking Teacher LOCATION:Robert W. Harrold Campus, Sidney Center, NY REPORTS:Principal TERMS:10 months; Full-time QUALIFICATIONS:Certified or eligible to receive New York State teacher certification in Computer Technology 7-12 or Electrical/Electronic Equipment Occupations (repair and Installation). To be eligible for teacher certification, candidates must possess a minimum of two years’ experience with computer hardware, software and networking of computer systems and an associate’s degree in Computer technology or related field with a minimum 2.5 grade point average. Knowledge of CISCO certification and A+ required. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Selected candidate will be responsible for delivery of instruction in computer networking course to secondary and adult student. Instruct 11th and 12th grade Career and Technical students in a CTE program. Ability to provide instruction in the following Computer Networking courses: Microcomputer Operating Systems, Microcomputer Hardware, Computer Science, Networking Essentials, Linux, Mobile App Development. SALARY/BENEFITS:Starting salary range $55,243 - $78,782 per year; Competitive pay and benefits based on BOCES Teachers’ Association (BTA) contract.
